SAMEA Networking

SAMEA fosters a vibrant M&E community by supporting communities of practice (COPs) and topical interest groups (TIGs), organizing conferences for learning and networking, sharing opportunities via listservs, and enabling peer support and exchange among members.

Learning Communities

SAMEA encourages the formation of provincial, regional or topical learning communities in the form of SAMEA Chapters, Networks, Communities of Practice or Topical Interest Groups. Though they may differ in structure and approach, these different learning communities extend the network of SAMEA and contribute to SAMEA’s objective of cultivating a vibrant community of evaluation practitioners and users. For local learning community participants, these spaces offer important services such as resource networks, professional development activities, and forums for members to explore, discuss and get involved with evaluation interests.
